Hi everyone! New member schoolieboy here. I live in NY's Hudson Valley and I fish the river in the spring for Stripers. I flyfish local streams and Catskill Mountain streams as well as the many reservoirs in the NYCDEP system. Having said that, stripers are hard to beat. I consider myself green when it comes to striper fishing. I haven't caught many fish, mostly schoolies (hence the name), and I haven't been able to truely put in the time that breeds success. I'm looking to learn more about stripers and fishing for them, and I'd love to start chasing them up and down the coast to expand my striper season. Thanks, and I can't say enough about this forum!
