Hi-lo! I'm new to fishing. I haven't even caught a fish ever, and I wanted my first fish to be a striper. I just bought my fishing stuff the other day. Wish me luck.
I bought an ugly stick 7ft combo for 60 bucks, fishing box, gamakatsu octopus circle hooks 1/0 to 5/0, swivels, fish finders, fishing knife, some sluggos, few ready made hi lo rigs, 25 yard flouro, different kinds of sinkers, smelly jello bass frenzy flavor and some other stuff. :) I hope I have everything. I am planning to go fishing today but it's still rainy and the tides are not good.
for someone who never fished before ya sure rattled off some stuff with knowlege. so what's your next question and who are you gonna fish with to learn.. gotta find some people on the beach near you that can give ya hands on. you can hear and write down and absorb what to do online but a few moments on the water is priceless. and stay off any jetty till your able to navigate one properly. bad things happen when your ill prepared.
New to forum and fishing
