Two words.

RED SOX!!!!

Mlb Hot Stove tracker

The Red sox have signed two of the best gems in baseball in my opinion. Former San Diego Padre first baseman Adrian Gonzalez was Traded for three minor league players and a PTBN on 12/06/10 and despite allowing their starting catcher (Victor Martinez) and third baseman (Adrian Beltre) to walk, the team added a big bat at first (Adrian Gonzalez) and an All-Star, "game-changing" left fielder in Carl Crawford. to a seven-year, $142 million deal.

Victor Martinez became the Detroit Tigers' primary designated hitter for next season once he agreed to a four-year, $50 million contract with the team

Jason Werth
Washington Nationals announced a seven-year deal with the 31-year-old outfielder at baseball's Winter Meetings -- Werth will get $126 million in the deal, according to several reports.

The White Sox have signed 1st baseman Adum Dunn, Paul Kanerko and A.J Pierzinski and the payroll figures to be close to a club record checkbook-busting $130 million next season.

Eleven homers shy of 600, Thome will play in 2011
The 40-year-old Thome, who hit 25 homers and drove in 102 runs for the Twins this past season, is 11 homers shy of 600 for his career.

Their bullpen still sux. They will likely get 40 wins and 35 complete games out of Halliday and Lee.
Here's a met fan hoping that Halliday's shoulder falls off and Howard gets caught and sent to jail for smoking crack.
