Catching Bait-Cold Water reservoir (raystown)
Hi all. Was hoping for some tips on catching shad and alewives in cold water scenarios. Raystown is my home lake but i'm sure the techniques are the same for most man-made reserviors. The other day when I was out the surface temps were about 40 deg, give or take a degree, depending on location. Should I be looking far back in coves or out on main lake flats? Are they just to deep still? The docks maybe? I'm using a 6 ft cast net. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
