Re: new to it all!! eel question?
By transporting eels to the river, do you mean keeping them alive to go to the river? If so that is no problem. All you need it two buckets which fit inside eachother, i personally use 2 cat liter buckets we had. In the top bucket drill 10 or so decent sized holes (1/4-1/2in works fine) in the bottom of it. This is to drain the eel slime as they can survive just fine out of water but will drown in their own slime, so it needs to be drained, hense the holes. Then just place the bucket with the holes in your other bucket, the second bucket acting as a catch basin for the slime, and your good to go. It helps to put some ice packs in the top bucket with the eels to keep them sleepy and making them easier to put on. Hope this helps.
