Fair number of fish in the Mac.. my biggest so far is about 15lbs.... but this weather has been some dreadfull...be very careful in the mouth of the river.. the dredging has reconfigured it.. and not for the better... a huge bar has built up on the north side, Jergals bar is still on the south side, the dredged area acts as a funnel... any eastrly wind brings a standing chop ( 3-4' of white water) against a current that is running close to 5 Knots ( with these big tide and storm surge) on the drop.. use extreme caution...

if the bar isn't exposed up there I would stay off it that current rips through there and it is Very possible to have your the area you are standing wash out. If you are unfamiliar with the area it can get hairy.

The bite was slow today and shut off once the tide started back in and yes the water is moving and so are the seals.

I heard some gossip of 42 inch bass being pulled up at the mouth of the river.
I was at Cranes beach last night and there jumping ova there. Also heard some reports of decent line siders at Kenwood bridge in Beverly/Salem.
