manning needs 131 touchdows to beat favre.
he also needs to play 94 more games to beat favre for most games played.
and those are straight games without missing one... thats five straight years including the playoffs. that record i don't think he can break.
as far as touchdowns are concerned? if he does play 5 more seasons - thats 26 touchdowns every year to tie that one.
tall task if ya ask me. favre just passed montana in that game for completions and yards. don't have the poop on those numbers but just the fact he has never missed a game in 16 straight seasons that only one other man has come close to doing = (manning so far), speaks volumes. yea superbowl wins are key but, ask montana what he thinks.... i'm sure he will say something like "i coulda never taken that punishment" if he don't retire after that beating his wife prolly will divorce him.....

I would think at an average of 30 touchdowns a year he woud do that in 4 1/2 years. Needs six years to break the iron man record.

63 games with at least 3 touchdowns.
43 -6 in 34 degree or less weather
manning has had it easy if you ask me.
when he breaks the most touchdowns passed
the most yards passed and the most completions and most games played LIFETIME, then he will be all time best. gotta get there and if he can't he can't. . child pleeze?
i'm not saying he won't or can't. but i can take book he can't play in as many consecutive games.

Peyton made the likes of Jacob Tamme a household name.
Imagine he had a running back. 15 players on injured reserve and they still might win their division.
Got to give it to the guy, he never complained or made excuses.
He just threw the ball to Blair White instead of Austin Collie.
