Cape Fear Saltwater Rod

Help, I bought a used Cape fear rod at a flea market for 45.00. All that it says on it is, Cape Fear 9935b with a lighthouse on its logo. No other info is on the rod. It seems to be a heavy action with roller guides, its black lacquer with yellow and red wrappings. It is one piece 6'8" with a wooden handle. Does any one know anything about this rod? Its in very good shape, I am kind of new at this.
Is This rod worth buying a good reel for it? if so what kind? What would be its uses. Is it worth at least the $45 ? Thanks.

I have no experience with that brand, but it sounds like a heavy trolling rod. If the finish, reel seat, and rollers are in good shape and you have a boat you can use it on I'd say $45 is not bad at all.

I don't see that model # listed, but it could be an older one that's just not there any longer.

I saw a few Cape Fear trolling rods on eBay for between $250 & $400.
