Default Poestenkill creek

Was wondering if anyone has seen any herring in the creek yet? I know it’s normally a little early for them to arrive but it’s been a mild winter considering. If I get some time today I might make the trip down there and see what I find.

I've seen posts on facebook of people claiming to have seen herring in the Poesty as well as many other creeks .... personally I think it's BS.

It can be a zoo there until they start hitting in the main river. I may wait this year.

They come in 6's and 8's, not a whole lot of difference. Green and red, same thing. I got in to Richard's before they closed back in early March.

I stopped there yesterday and didn’t see anything, but also water was high so couldn’t really see the bottom.
