This is a rod I bought from another guuy, so I don't know the blank #- 8foot rod that is bpretty beefy- can throw 1 1/2 to 4 oz I'd say. wrapped with Hardaloy guides and corktape lower grip/cork rings foregrip. ord is in great shape- never really used it much as the surf/fish in CT never really required a bigger rod like that. reel is a used/OK condition Tica Pisces (shimano calcutta 400 knock-off) spooled with 30lb spiderwire stealth- works fine, just not too pretty.....
