Striper fishing on a nice day--Wife
Striper fishing on a bad day-- Buddy
Kids--Don't like fishing
Dog--Shitsu, never again,[long hair and mud flats don't go well together]
Enjoy fishing by myself also.

Well I don't have a wife, so that one's out, however fishing with my girlfriend is fun as long as we're catching fish and the weather is nice. That goes for my oldest Kid too My youngest one will brave the worst conditions with me and still have a blast, fish or no fish....anyhow to answer the question.....

My Kids....

That would be my choice.

I love fishing with a buddy when I get a chance, but usually fish alone.

The wife's incessant need to find a restroom pretty much ruins a fishing day. My next boat is going to have a head, lol.

The last time I took a dog the dumb SOB jumped over the side to retrieve the eel! It wouldnt have been bad but all the comotion of getting her back in the boat had every decent bass within a mile laughing their tails off!

Well when I'm going out fishing freshwater for fun it's probably the best with 3 year old daughter. I don't fish then but it's awesome to see her get so excited. Last week she actually asked me "Daddy, we go fishing next week, you and me, and you put worm on my hook!" that was an awesome feeling. When I go out to fish hard, no doubt I love to go with my old man. He knows how to catch them, and knows where there at. It's always nice to catch up on old times too. The wife doesn't like the ocean so she's out and the dog is too dumb. Buddies, don't really have any that like to go fishing to the extreme that I do.

Dont have a wife.
Dont have kids.
Dont have a dog.
So say buddy. I fish alone quite a bit, but usually try to find a buddy that is looking to fish as well.

This is a used to list. Always with the buddy, he's better than me. I'd love the wife to go but she's disabled. Tried for years to get my son to fish, he's the pain in the butt. The dogs like sushi so they wait at home. Hate fishing by my lonesome, but I do.

some interesting answers here, I fish alone alot, especialy when I'm going hardcore,I'll leave spots loaded with "small" fish just looking for one wall hanger, catching fish is not an issue, I just like catching monsters...

last summer I got to fish with my son again, first time in about 5 or 6 years, since he left to serve our country in the Navy, what a treat it was to back on the water together again, the weather was miserable, rain and wind.... but, I wouldnt trade that memory for everything I own, I'll treasure that reunion until the day i die!

I totally agree roc. Its not like I ever find the monsters, but the pressure is definitely off to get your buddy on the fish. There are times though when I do look forward to taking a buddy out.
