Well sadly i have to report that friday night was a total failure. I thought we did it right but no bites. I did see a few fish swirling. I tried trolling around at different speeds with different amounts of line out. next time. One last thing, my body is killing me.

KR

You got it wrong, total failure is sitting at home watching the boob-tube wishing you were out there instead....

That's why it's fishing and not catching....You'll get'um another day

I went out this am and anchored in the horrible blow.......the USCG wanted any boat less than 40' in length to have an escort thru the mouth....

No fish, no bites, no one died or drowned.....Long day but not a failure....Life is Good

I had originaly planned to live line Macs Saturday morning... a study of the forecast and a "few" years of experience have taught me that it's a long season...and it's only the beginning of June.. no need to take a beating just yet.. especialy when the average fish is only in th elow teens.. I used this nasty weather to rest my healing MCL.... an injury i contacted back in February ice fishing... and re injured/aggravated groundfishing offshore a month ago.. it feels good after staying off of it all wekend... by the time the weather clears.. knee and boat should be ready to have at it...
