I'm new to Striper fishing...so I'll search out the newbie threads and try not to bother you with questions already answered.
I do a fair bit of freshwater fishing and saltwater line-wetting for other species but my brother tells me that Stripers are the real thing...
so he's taking me out in a few weeks (not his boat).
So I have a lot to learn, and this forum looks like the place to learn it.
6string, welcome, Where are you from? Why wait for your brother to take you out in a FEW WEEKS!? We got guy's fishing daily in some cases. Almost all our members are out on weekends, losing sleep, and happy relationships, chasing the Striped devil.
We also have get togethers with one coming up next week.
