Default totally disappointed new englander

Moved here to Groves,tx with family. As an avid fisherman I am very dissappointed with the water here. It is very brackish not to say the fishing is bad. Being so used to seeing clean clear water oh my god. I dont even know if i want to steep in it. Sorry but being new here Thats how i feel right now
Any insight here would be appreciated

Im not from Texas but you should try a glow-in-the-dark lure ...... lol. If the water is that black then im not sure the fish can see what there eating. Maybe a stink bait. So they can smell it!!!!!!
