Default Power Pro Ok for A Penn 700?
Just got my first 700 and it's smooth as a babys arse. Is power pro ok or will I mess up the spool?

PowerPro won't mess up the spool or the reel, but Fireline seems to wind more evenly on the older reels

I fished power pro on a 704 towards the end of last season and it was ok. That being said I have had a tough time with suffix on my bait runner this year. I have never ever had a problem with fireline on anything ever.
