There are so many choices.
Breakaway doesnt make the LDFC 119-2 anymore.
That would seem like a great choice even for plugging.
The lamiglas surfking looks more and more like a pretty good rod. The price is right. 1 to 4 ounces covers many different lures and its a lami.
Off shore angler ocean master is a pretty good buy.
E glass -- Where toughness, durability and cost are factors
S glass -- casting rods for light line and lures
graphite -- the next step up from s glass but more prone to breakage than fiberglass
composite -- combination of glass and graphite
