i know eels can live in fresh and saltwater, but i'm wondering, if i catch eels where i live up the hudson where it's pure freshwater and drive down to ct and toss them in saltwater, would that shock them to death? i'll also have to see if i can transport them across state borders like that.
We only have stripers from mid May to mid October...winter lasts a long time inbetween.
