I don't fish Greer's Ferry, but I do spend a lot of time on Norfork which is about the same situation. If you can find a feeding school it won't really matter what you throw at them; if they are actively feeding they will eat anything resembling a shad. We mainly fish suspending jerkbaits at night in early spring and topwaters early and late as the water warms. You need to be able to come in the spring if at all possible. Once the water gets hot they will go deep and it will take downriggers to get to them.
