I would add to this post that if you are a disabled veteran of 50% or more you get the life time sportsman license for about $110, if you get a sportsman with the works that pays for itself in 3 years.

Unified Disabled Veteran Sportsman/Coastal Recreational Fishing: Statewide hunting, inland and coastal recreational fishing for residents who are 50% or more disabled veterans as determined by the Veterans Administration. Includes hunting for big game, hunting on game lands, hunting for waterfowl (does not include federal duck stamp), fishing in designated Public Mountain Trout Waters, fishing in trout waters on game lands, and fishing in joint waters.
