Hi parker
according to Georges chart he states that

The figures above (In his chart) include 2’ of depth for a medium weight lure, 6 to 10 ounces and a 30’ mono
leader.

Add 1-2’ for a heavy lure, eg. A MoJo and subtract 1’ for a light lure below 6oz/
Fine-tuning as components change, eg. 12’ fluorocarbon leaders vs. 30’ mono can only be done through experience. Depths are for a boat speed of 3mph. For 2.5 mph multiply depth by 1.3 and for 3.5 mph by 0.8.
