Default Portland or Block Island
I am looking to travel to the Northeast over the Sept 15th weekend. I was planning to go to Portland to fish but I have heard the majority of the fish will be gone by then. I could also go to Block Island. I plan to surf fish and take a light tackle charter as well.

Can anyone comment on the fishing in Maine in two weeks or Block Island?
