Went out in a buddy's new boat. Left Friday, hit the Gut then ported in Greenport NY. In the morning went after flatties but nothing of keeper size was caught, did catch a nice keeper black sea bass and the occasional harbor blue. Hit the gut again later that day and we were consistently catching big blues with a few 34-36in stripers. It was my first trip to the salt (I'm usually surf casting) and I was happy to get that fish smell on my hands. I guess the summer is in full swing, let the games begin!
Will post some pics as soon as I get em loaded from camera.
It is not fear that grips him... only a heightened sense of things.
