When I pulled up next to you my fish finder screamed for 20 minutes.
I apologize for sitting on your stern, but I've never seen such a heavy concentration of bait.
It must've been poagies.
The fish were at 50 feet in 90 feet of water, no bites, two sabikis, two dead sticked mackerel at varying depths.
I scooted 2 miles southeast, to 110 feet, it was a desert out there.
Earlier I missed a striper hitting my free swimming herring, I forgot I had a circle hook on and blew it by trying to set the hook.
Tomorrow I go where there are no fish, about 50 miles south, with rain gear, a few bags of fresh mackerel, and Avantis.
Some day we'll figure it out.
