A meeting in South County is schedule for 22 April I believe at URI

There at least 6 proposed changes to fkuke some that are pretty bad. For the recrearttional and Charter boats.

Option 1 - Fluke recreational change season 1
7.7.4-1 Size and Possession No person fishing recreationally shall possess a summer flounder less than twenty inches (20) total length, and no person fishing recreationally shall possess, per calendar day, more than seven (7) summer flounder whether caught within the jurisdiction of this state or otherwise. Compliance with the possession limit aboard vessels will be determined by dividing the number of fish on a vessel by the number of recreational fishermen onboard said vessel
7.7.4-2 Season The recreational season for summer flounder in Rhode Island waters is open from - July 1 through August 31.
Option 2 - Fluke recreational change season 2
7.7.4-1 Size and Possession No person fishing recreationally shall possess a summer flounder less than twenty inches (20) total length, and no person fishing recreationally shall possess, per calendar day, more than seven (7) summer flounder whether caught within the jurisdiction of this state or otherwise. Compliance with the possession limit aboard vessels will be determined by dividing the number of fish on a vessel by the number of recreational fishermen onboard said vessel.
7.7.4-2 Season The recreational season for summer flounder in Rhode Island waters is open from July 4 through December 31.
Option 3 - Fluke recreational change season 3

Compliance with the possession limit aboard vessels will be determined by dividing the number of fish on a vessel by the number of recreational fishermen onboard said vessel.

Option 4 - Fluke recreational change size, bag, and season
7.7.4-1 Size and Possession No person fishing recreationally shall possess a summer flounder less than twenty inches (20) twenty-one inches (21) total length, and no person fishing recreationally shall possess, per calendar day, more than seven (7) six (6) summer flounder whether caught within the jurisdiction of this state or otherwise. Compliance with the possession limit aboard vessels will be determined by dividing the number of fish on a vessel by the number of recreational fishermen onboard said vessel.
7.7.4-2 Season The recreational season for summer flounder in Rhode Island waters is open from January 1 June 13 through December 31.
Option 5 - Fluke recreational split mode 1
7.7.4-1 Size and Possession: Party Boat Mode No person fishing recreationally shall possess a summer flounder less than twenty inches
(20) twenty-one inches (21) total length, and no person fishing recreationally shall possess, per calendar day, more than seven (7) summer flounder whether caught within the jurisdiction of this state or otherwise. Compliance with the possession limit aboard vessels will be determined by dividing the number of fish on a vessel by the number of recreational fishermen onboard said vessel.
7.7.4-2 Season: Party Boat Mode The recreational season for summer flounder in Rhode Island waters is open from January May 1 through December 31.
7.7.4-3 Size and Possession: Non Party Boat Modes No person fishing recreationally shall possess a summer flounder less than twenty inches (20) total length, and no person fishing recreationally shall possess, per calendar day, more than seven (7) four (4) summer flounder whether caught within the jurisdiction of this state or otherwise. Compliance with the possession limit aboard vessels will be determined by dividing the number of fish on a vessel by the number of recreational fishermen onboard said vessel.
7.7.4-4 Season: Non Party Boat Mode The recreational season for summer flounder in Rhode Island waters is open from January July 1 through July 12 and July 24 through December 31.
Option 6 Fluke recreational split mode 2
7.7.4-1 Size and Possession: Party Boat Mode No person fishing recreationally shall possess a summer flounder less than twenty inches (20) twenty-one inches (21) total length, and no person fishing recreationally shall possess, per calendar day, more than six (6) seven (7) summer flounder whether caught within the jurisdiction of this state or otherwise. Compliance with the possession limit aboard vessels will be determined by dividing the number of fish on a vessel by the number of recreational fishermen onboard said vessel.
7.7.4-2 Season: Party Boat Mode The recreational season for summer flounder in Rhode Island waters is open from January 1 May 16 through August 17 and then September 1 through December 31.
7.7.5 Summer flounder Dealer/Shipping/Transfer/Reporting Regulations/Penalty --
7.7.5-1 Prohibition on the transfer of Summer flounder -- No Summer flounder (Paralichthys dentatus), may be purchased, bartered, or sold within the State of Rhode Island unless marked, processed, shipped, labeled, and handled in accordance with the following rules:
