I was never a bridge fishing master like you and some of your cohorts but back in the early eighties, around the time the former world record was caught in Point Lookout, I caught a beauty off the Meadowbrook that sucked down a whole bunker. It was at night, of course, and the fish came out from under the shadow line. Watching the whole event transpire is one of my favorite fishing memories. Never weighed but it was a big fish.
PS A weakfish fillet rolled up with crab, shrimp, scallop and a ritz cracker stuffing (basically what you'd stuff a lobster with) is none too shabby.
