Chin: This applies to the shore. It all depends on where you fish. If there is deep water near where you fish dead low can work . I fish as a rule the top of the tide. 2 hours before the high and two hours after. An evening high tide is premium. So is an early morning high. A day time high tide can be more productive if its an overcast or snotty day.
I have some spots for the low tide from shore. Both are near deep dropoffs. And another is in quiet shallow harbor.
How inappropriate to call this planet Earth when it is quite clearly Ocean.
