We went out on the maiden voyage of the new boat. Had trouble with the main motor so we trolled around with the kicker pullin rattle traps and rapalas. I got hit on my Xrap by a sea monster. It took 20 min to get him in ,not with out a lot of boat manuevering because I had 6lb floro leader and no net! There was another smaller one chasing but we couldn't get him to bite. It measured 37" with a girth of 28" around ,and weighed with a hand scale 29-30lbs. Biggest fresh water fish I've ever caught ,or seen |
