IGFA Record Catches - Largemouth Bass, Cobia, Narrowbarred Mackerel

by WFN: World Fishing Network

The IGFA has released another batch of potential world record catches. These catches are currently undergoing the review process, and as of yet cannot be considered official world records.

Note: unless otherwise stated, these catches are potential all-tackle (length) world records.

Patrick Sebile is a name that anglers will instantly recognize. He's the creator and designer of some of the best lures on the market. In addition to that, he's also a world-renowned angler. In the last year and a bit, he's caught a number of potential world record catches. Here are four of his most impressive ones, in the order in which they were caught:

On April 19, 2011, Sebile landed this beautiful narrowbarred mackerel while fishing in Australia's Coral Sea. It measured in at 127 cm and was caught using a Sebile Stick Shad.
