Default Breakfast of Champions? I think so.

Whipped this up this morning with some cuts of striper that hadn't made it's way to the grill or frying pan. Looked so good I just had to save it for the books. Seasoned the meat with a little kosher salt and coarse ground pepper. Then wrapped them up in bacon (oh boy BACON!) Seared them in a nice hot cast iron skillet, served them up with some eggs, english and oj. I'm ready to tackle the day!

At last an Asian I probably wouldn't mind fishing with unless I'm using big eels . How was it wrapped in bacon? I never thought of doing that. Did the fish cook all the way through?

You can see the marks on the floor from trying to get the eels on the fork. They are tough ones. Only kidding around it's all in fun. Keep posting pic's

Yes bay it does cook all the way through. And there are very few asians like me. I'm such a twinkie (yellow on the outside, white on the inside) Childhood was tough growin' up with all the "round-eyes". And have you ever tried bbq'd eel? Tasty, but that's another post.

A few of my round eye friends along with a couple of the slanted eye friends love it and tell me how good it is. I will not eat it!!!! I'm sure it's great my dad has even told me the same. Just can't even think about it. We caught a huge 1 one night it was thicker than a red bull can. My buddies knocked it out rolled it in foil and threw it in the fire. 5 minutes later they hauled it out and started mawing on the thing. DISGUSTING!!!!!

I love Unagi which is the sushi eel, and I eat all types of sushi. Many times when out fishing we would bring some soy sauce and wasabi with use and eat the fish right on the boat. I will say that I have never aquired a taste for sea urchin though

I have tried almost every other game animal and some that may not be considered game animal. Where I use to live there was a pub that would would have a "wild game dinner" every year where people would bring animals that they had prepared. This was in MA and not in the south as it is common for them down there. I never thought tree rat(squirrel) or city chicken(pigeon) could taste so good. Those were just a few of the things that they had there. Pheasant is freaking awesome but it sucks when you chomp down on a BB.

I had even worked at a very high class restaurant where we served frog legs, squab, escargot and several other animals that I considered odd at the time. The dinners were served in either 8 or 12 courses and it cost the diners a small fortune. I always hated working there as the place was haunted and used to scare the sheet out of me to be there alone late at night. One great thing though is they had a hell of a wine cellar and always had very fresh fish

Wow... um... dunno what to say. Zim... you win I guess. I've tried a lot of things in my life, but raccoon??? Bastages used to knock my trash over at least once a week! (thank you hot sauce) One thing you didn't mention that I'd love to try... Gator!
