Default wire line

Hello everyone, I usually use Super Braids to pull my u-rigs, I want to try my luck with wire line this year, what would be the best recommended way of attaching the wire to the spool AND the flroro. leader? Any assistance is welcome.
Thanks in advance;
Jim

Ken Jr., thanks for the reply, sounds pretty much the same way as the super braids, so I should be able to manage that

I use dacron backing and flurocarbon leader of about 80lbs, use haywire twist and albrights for your knots, and mark your wire every 10 to twenty feet so you know how much line you have out.

whats a U-rig ? umbrella rig ? I am an OLD fisherman and NEW to this site I know this, if you can fish it, WIRE is the BEST way to catch stripers esp BIG ones tubes umbrellas parachute jigs and especially jig it eels, wire from 40 to 60 need good metal spooled reels and soft backing, carbalode guides and roller tip top. do any of you young guys know about the high bank? fishing long wire and jigs for HUGE bass in sept. and oct. ?

The only thing i would disagree about is the roller tip top. I have seen wire bounce out of it (mainly with the pumping of a bunker spoon) and get caught between the roller and the frame of the tip. I just prefer Silicone Carbide or Carbaloy Guides all the way up.
