I would suggest a local charter on the Susquahanna Flats if I were you, I fished for Stripers for 20 years on Cape Cod with decent success but when I moved here I didn't catch nearly the quantity of fish I "thought" I would. I was able to get out with some locals and learn the little tricks that seperate a good day from a great one. If you are here for a short time and want to catch as many fish a possible these guys can't be beat. The flats are a great fishery but there are many nuances that take time to learn. Good luck. Also if you do bring your boat and are not familiar with the bay take it slow. It can get real shallow real quick.

This year I plan to get out much more often than last year, I fish quite a few Salmon tournaments up north in the spring so it is hard to switch gears between that and the stripers but I am going to make it happen this spring. When I do get out on the bay I fish the rivers and flats pretty much exclusively until late summer then I will venture south for some trolling. Hit me up offline and we can work something out. I am going to be out this weekend but mostly to test the boat/gear, and make the wife happy!
