i drove by it the other day ( lunch hr ) and the level is really , really low.
i believe THIS WEEKEND , they are closing the launch ramp.
the level droped about 60ft or more, so its a bit of a problem for luanching.
on the second note, RUMORS of winches of some kind to adjust ramp levels are going to be installed.
THE GOOD NEWS, they are extending the shore lines for shore fishing accesss.
lots of untouched areas along the shores.
also, the new tye in to silverwood waters are in progress.
it may be 2009 beforee d.v.l. gets water again.
when i was on the boat, we can see the pumps sticking out the water about 40ft.
as for fish report:
NO STRIPERS YET.
as all the dashers and swimbaiters are not making plans this fall. ( well most of them).
the trouts are slowly shown on 5 colors near the west dam out let.
bass is deeper in the 20 to 40ft colums.
no stocks yet.
good luck.
get in line super early at the gates.
100 to 200 trailer boats will be there on weeekends.
