Luckily for me I am only 5 minutes from Sebasticook and Kennebec River.
I'm so lucky....
St.Croix all the way

I'm lucky that I live by the Housatonic River, so depending on where, what parts, and what side I want to fish on, it can range from a 5 minutes ride to no more than a 20 minute ride. I usually like to fish in the fresh/salt mix or higher up where its fresh water.

Coalman I thought I was close you have me beat. I take 7 minutes to
South Cape Beach and 30 min to the Cape Cod Canal.

From San Diego. I'd say right around 3000 miles. Fishing Hampton area.

5 min to the Albemarle Sound and 1hr and 15min to the Ocean (Oregon Inlet or Virginia Beach)

In mid December, 6 of us ole Nam Vets try to travel to Stevensville, MD from Jensen Beach, FL for our stripers! About 1000 miles!

8 min.from the Toms River,and 15 min from Island Beach State Park.Life is REAL GOOD !!!!

At least 4 hr to Jones beach have the night permit stay there , then on to points east am a beach bum for at least 4 days and nights look forward each year

about a half hour for spring striper fishing on the Upper Hudson, and an easy three hour drive to Cape Cod for summer Stripers, soo worth it!!!
