Yozuri Hybrid
Yo-Zuri Hybrid molecularly bonds fluorocarbon and nylon during an exclusive, patented extrusion process. The result is a denser line that is tougher, more sensitive and more resistant to cuts and nicks through the entire diameter of the line.
Its breaking strength is stronger than mono but the diameter is similar. For example for more reel capacity you would use 12 or 15 pound test if you wanted 20 pound strength.

Jim,

Some of those numbers are off

There's no way that Stealth is the same thickness as Suffix, Stealth is much thicker.

I know for fact that Ande 30# is 6# diameter not 8#

Actually if you look at the numbers all the braids have the same exact diameters. That can't be right.

I really appreciate your taking the time to post this! I've been thinking about it all day but didn't do a search.

I've been loading some new AVET reels between clients at my veterinary clinic and was trying to decide just what size mono was the equivalent: 65# Power Pro/16# mono.

Thanks again!!

Has anyone tried the new Spiderwire Stealth in higher test? I am just learning how to cast a convench reel and I need a thicker diameter line and don't want to use mono. I was thinking about getting the new 150# Stealth since it appears to have a 32# mono equivalent. Not sure if this is total overkill but I think I would have fewer backlashes using the thick braid...
