A Garmin 182C GPS/Plotter/Fish Finder After Proper Setup
Ed Grenda booked a Half-Day Trip for today so I could setup his Garmin GPS/Plotter/Fish Finder and to show him some light tackle techniques used to catch striped bass. This unit is capable of distinguishing the difference between baitfish, striped bass, white perch, and other saltwater species. The pictures below show the results after I completed a variety of manual setup procedures. A full explanation of this setup is understood by Ed and I will send him these pictures for a future reference.
Fishing Tip: Save time and money by having your electronic units on your boat setup for maximum use. This can not be done while every setting is on automatic. A variety of manual settings must be done before this can happen.
