over a 100% increase, is BS I agree but if you use it often they do have a season pass for 100.00. As far as damage I"m not you but I would call the Police make a report then file a notice of claim w/ Newburgh for repair cost. I know it sounds like a PITA but its not and the cost they charge is cover the Parking and up keep as we taxpayers thru the DEC already paid to have the ramp put in. According to the city of Shit the fee was established to cover the parking and lot maintenance not the ramp usage therefore they ARE LIABLE for any damages. The Shitty will gladly pay rather then pay for the court & lawyer fees in addition to your claim

If you pd then the parking lot insurance should kick in. Go back and file for it. Maybe they will see the err in there increase? Also show them if ya ganna charge you have to kinda watch there personal property

Becon is free yes but, two problems: 1 parking 2 the ramp is a mess and the approach is hazardous due to rocks and debris. That ramp is mostly for very small even car top boats.

Yes we all know that the launch at gullys sucks and is over priced, this is all that they will give us.
UNLESS we all ban together and write our congress men Bill Larkin and Nan Hayworth and demand a new launch at Plum point. This place is perfict for a ramp. With all the people out there fishing there is no reason that we can't have access to our river. We all know that the squeaky wheel gets the most grease!
Speak up and make a difference.
