comorants are in coeymans area...fish are always ahead of them ..hey hung just talked to dean...oooohhh yeah brother...

One of my friends was down to the main river just below the rip van winkle yesterday and caught a herring, they must be here in descent numbers if you can catch em in the main river

everything ive read says there inst much of a run in the hudson of hickory. anyone ever seen one? also, i caught a blueback last week in the troy area , it hit on a sabiki. strange year

Just looked in the Postenkil, almost dead low tide, no herring to be seen, not saying there isn't any tucked up against the falls or laying on bottom below the falls just saying it looked nothing like last week.

Nope zip zero no herring in the postenkill high tide was round ten figured id try then nuttin I say another 5 to 7 dayz till the bluebacks arrive here n there..... Caught a striper close by tonight round sixish chunk herring lil 6pounder
