Ocean City Inshore (Chincoteague, VA to Fenwick Island)
Located a 140 miles from BaltimoreOcean City is bordered on both sides by water -- the Atlantic Ocean on the east and the Assawoman Bay on the west (making it possible to see both the sunrise and sunset). The town extends from the Inlet at the southern end of the boardwalk to the Maryland-Delaware state line at 146th Street. It is estimated that more than eight million vacationers pass through Ocean City throughout the year -- making it the second largest city (after Baltimore) in Maryland at the height of the season. Ocean City's main attraction is its boardwalk , a 2.9-mile stretch The inshore waters adjoining Maryland's Atlantic coast are rich with marine life and offer some of saltwater's finest fishing.

Potamac River and Tributaries
- (A Chesapeake Bay Sportfishing License is required to fish in the Potomac and it's tributaries up to their freshwater dividing lines.) Mattawoman Creek lies in the W part of Charles Co., above the bridge on MD Rt. 225 (Freshwater Fishing License is required); Piscataway Creek runs through SE Prince George's Co. near Clinton, above Livingston Rd, (Freshwater Fishing License is required); largemouth bass, striped bass, chain pickerel, crappie, channel catfish, yellow and white perch, bluegill sunfish and carp are found in tributaries and in the Potomac River.
